Acadian Contractors provided the project management, procurement, quality control, and construction for a Tri-pod structure located in a water depth of 30 feet. The project consisted of utilizing an existing 215 Ton deck and 100 Ton jacket. The deck and jacket were off loaded at Acadian Contractors yard in Abbeville LA, refurbished and loaded out on customer supplied transportation. The refurbishment of the jacket consisted of revising the jacket to accommodate a reduction in water depth from 58’ to 30’, removal and replacement of anodes, mud mats, conductor guides and other miscellaneous items. The deck refurbishment scope included the addition of a deck extension, multiple structural strengthening components, removal and replacement of multiple skid packages, demo of a portion of ICP, & new fabrication of a portion of ICP. The finished product is being utilized off the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico.
